Wickit candle founder Stacy l Booth a native of Columbus Ohio. In 2012 I spent 3 days with my children in the dark because the electricity was out. During those 3 days, but! One particular night as I was looking at the candles burning, I noticed how plain they were. They smelled good but they didn't have any unique appeal or nothing about them that made us want to sit and watch the candles burn so instead of being sad about the situation or overwhelmed by the obstacles that we were experiencing. I decided that we could make our own candles with a Wickit twist. We spent the next 5 years thinking and researching different  amazing ways to make candles that not only look beautiful but also smelled good too. the obstacles and challenges are different but the drive, motivation and ambition is still the same. With Due-diligence, resilience is sure to come.
